Comments	This Indica dominant strain was created by backcrossing a male cross of ShivaSkunk from Sensi and Princess' brother (a JH f2) back to the ShivaSkunk mother. In "cubing" terms that would mean that your plants are ShivaSkunk.75. Another grower I sent them to liked them a lot too. I'm glad you're having such excellent success with my strains!" MrSoul I believe Apollo 13 is P88 male X Genius (Princess' more indica type sister) but still a JH F2 from the same set of seeds found at the 'Cafe in Adam. I can't tell you what it grows like, as the seeds were only just harvested. The mother is the same one I used to create Apollo 13 and the father is my best Cinderella 99 male. It should be a more potent version than Apollo 13... that much I'll say. MrSoul Apollo 11 & Apollo 13 are from the same mother plant (Genius). The father of Apollo 13 was P.75 whereas Apollo 11's dad is Cinderella 99. Apollo 11 will therefore be more Sativa dominant. MrSoul Apollo 13 has a MINIMAL amount Shiva Skunk in its composition, only about 10%. Its mother was bred from a mysterious hybrid of Jack Herer crossed with an unidentified male which seems to have given it an unusually SHORT flowering period. Its scent is a pungent "Lemon Pledge" citrus with an undertone of acrid skunk. You really taste lemons when you smoke a joint. The high is STRONG, and starts hitting you while you're smoking it, rather than being a "creeper" high. It's easy to grow, matures rapidly, and manicures easily. Cinderella 88 is shorter & more resinous, but yields about the same as Apollo 13. The flavour is like tropical fruits like pineapple, mango, tangerine... but with an "evil" undertone a lot like certain Thai weed has. I consider Cinderella superior to Apollo, but everyone's got an opinion. Neither of these strains are true-breeding but their offspring would be good -just lots of variety. I have grown Apollo 13 and its sister... Cinderella. I understand the Apollo to be composed of Sensi's Shiva Skunk. Apollo finishes faster than Cinderella (Jack Herer). It looks good at 45 days and is faster than Princess (she needs at least 50) Apollo turns an attractive orange and red color and has very few leaves. The stone is strong but it kind of makes me sleepy (not as bad as Blueberry), Princess has a more "up" high. Apollo looks like the picture on the Grimm website. I like it because it's fast. Good taste and smell. I like it better than Blueberry. Abbie Hoffman Apollo finishes faster than Cinderella, and cures to a more orange bud. Cinderella cures to a light gold and is a more up high. Apollo is an evening smoke. My Apollo plant is ripe at 45 days, Cinderella at around 50. Just my observations after 3 crops with these varieties. Both are better than my 42 day old Blueberry in taste and high. Ill give them all another 10 days or so and then do another comparison. I did indeed send some folks a "combination pack" of Sativa dominant (P.75) and Indica dominant seeds a few months ago. MrSoul Just about anything you write in here regarding the quality of seeds at seedbanks starts sounding like you are spamming for one or the other, but for me, the Joker's Snow Slyder from ME was the kind of buzz you are talking about also the Bros Grimms Apollo is a real couch lock, both are moderately priced for the bang, out of about twenty or so strains I have gotten from various banks most were good some almost great but like you felt they could have\should have been better. I have what I like now, but it took awhile. Zacks Grew Bros Green Giant (Big Bud x Shiva Skunk) out over the holidays. Took em to 40" in organics under a 400 agrosun MH. I fed em with foxfarms and pureblend with GH nutes weak. Buds were nice and tight and I ended up with just under 2 ozs. per. I just smoked it an hour ago and I'm starting to come down. The high is intense for me, I'm a lightweight, 2 tokes and I'm toasted. This buzz just slams you, in my opinion a nice place to go if you've got nothing to do. I like just letting my mind go occasionally and she does it. I think it's the Shiva Skunk part that I prefer. Definitely a narcotic type of buzz, you're literally numb. While I was stoned I kept thinking "I wonder if there is a strain description available that just talks about the characteristics of the stone." The grow part is great but the end result is what we're after. Taste and smell are great but I think they're both overplayed. I want to know if the high is instant or a creeper. Am I gonna wake up the next day feeling hung over? Is it a productive buzz or just a mellow you out type? How much is too much? There was a compilation of Cinderella 88 (one of my favorites) out there that was great, it may be archived somewhere. Why couldn't there be one for each strain? The experience is out there, it only needs to be shared. One thing about the Bros. is they are willing to share their experiences with you and look forward to your feedback. Greenthumbs is the same way although it's been awhile since a post. I'm on day 23 of the Heritage strains and a few C-88 kids that look great. Glands are starting to show and more in the future. Frank I grew out BG's A13 last year and have since grown out its progeny with great results. Mr.Soul said there would be a great deal of variation because of A13's genetic makeup, however its offspring were just as potent as the mom. Frank If your males are the A13 I agree it's too bad, however they'll create excellent progeny when crossed with the C-88. You have to be careful with both C-88 and A13 because it is easy to overdo the two on how high you can get and the racing of your heart kicks in with C-88 or shit starts getting numb on you not to mention the paranoia that can kick in depending on your mindset before you started toking either strain. The NL and the A13 could mellow out the C-88 and your breeding experiment will bring great results. The bros. will tell you you'll get much variation due to the genetics of both strains however both bred with themselves have given me very even and similar offspring with growth characteristics and quality of high. Frank The shortest consistent strain for me has been Sensis' Cal Indica, it seems like it always finishes before most of the others I've tried. Usually done between 45 and 50 days max flower time. Fastest was a Durban from Greenthumb at 42 days, the plant flowered at 6 weeks of veg and when the rest were just starting to look good at three weeks this plant looked like it had a week and a half to go. Apollo and Cindy are really consistent in their flower times, I'll bet you could pull both at 45 days and have a nice finished product. The high from Apollo was intense, lots of body sensations, lips getting numb, feeling all kinds of physical stuff. After the initial buzz of about an hour, I spent the next two glued to couch with my head going wow, wow, wow, you get the point -I had some paranoid thoughts but not like C88. Cinderella after a couple of tokes for me is like the start of race, first I felt like chicken little I smoked too much, then my thoughts are on overdrive, mind racing, excellent weed to smoke when you have to do something that doesn't require intense focus, just getting it done. It's great for getting housework done, you just kind of buzz along at this frenzied pace. A few more short flower strains for me have been Hindu Kush, 45 days flower. Flo finished quick, 50 days, Alpha Bud and AK 8 weeks. I pull them at 50% turned. Most of Greenthumbs' strains I think I pulled too early, with the sat dominants IMO it's better to got long and bring the high down a bit. That's what works for me anyhow, your mileage will vary. I will grow Swazi again now that I've figured out when to flower the sativa dominant strains. It had the happiest high I've had in a long time, lots of laughs and fun. The sat dominant strains take a special care and patience and aren't for everyone but if you do it for yourself its worth it. Frank You're going to love Apollo 13! Grow them out ASAP! The plant is a mostly sativa cross, it needs lots of light. The high and taste put this one in my top 5, have fun and overgrow! Greenbear Dude! You are pretty damn lucky having Apollo 13 seeds. That has to be one of the most powerful strains I have ever experienced. Add to that the fact that it's not available right now in bean form. Get it, grow it and clone it. Rhino Apollo 13 will never be available again, its C.88 x Genius and it is killer -it's so strong I have had people accuse me of slipping something in the joint- it goes like this "shit that can't be pot, no way I can handle the Chronic (yeah right) no, no more dude I'm fine", drop em and grow em. Webfish I have sent G13 x Apollo13 to H.S. for the auction... Oh yea, my Apollo13 is every bit as strong as the famous G13 and way better tasting, the high though just doesn't last as long.
